Her Fake Engagement

Her Fake Engagement

My Review:

Lottie has strict rules when it comes to dating. She is only interested in finding the one, so anything less than perfect will not do. No smokers, no artists, no beards. A good job is essential and ambition is required.

Lottie is a Manhattan real estate broker. She likes to get straight to the point and doesn't like wasting time. The apartment she will show you is the one you want to live in. You just might not know it yet. She's good at her job and she knows it.

Lottie's friends want to let down their hair and have some fun. After a night out, they see Brides-to-be's having a whale of a time. Free drinks and lots of guy attention. They decide to host a series of Fake Hen parties. Each girl takes it in turn to be the one getting married. They have a background story and they must stick to the plan. Lottie meets Tyler. She's supposed to be engaged and he ticks all the wrong boxes. He's an artist, has a beard and is unsure about marriage. Tyler does have a good job and he is handsome, but he isn't her type. He has a business opportunity for her. Tyler wants her to find his couch hogger an apartment. It's her job she can handle the task. No problem! It's just Tyler rubs Lottie the wrong way. So why can't she stop thinking about him!

4 stars out of 5. I can imagine this as a TV Rom Com movie. It's light hearted and sweet. I just wish there had been more of a happily ever after. This book is more about the chase than the catch but definitely worth reading.
